The Statistical Offi ce in Gdańsk is presenting Maritime economy in Pomorskie Voivodship in the years 2012-2014. It is a consecutive publications, issued in a three-year cycle, wholly dedicated to this subject.
The elaboration consists of general and methodological notes as well as the statistical tables. The methodological notes explain thematic scope of the presented material and principles of grouping. They also include definitions of applied notions. The tables have been grouped in eight thematic chapters comprising: entities and employed persons in maritime economy; investment outlays and fixed assets in maritime economy; seaports; maritime and coastal shipping; production of sea vessels; fishing economy; state of the environmental and sea waters protection, as well as maritime education.
