The elaboration consists of general and methodological notes as well as the statistical tables. The methodological notes explain thematic scope of the presented material, principles of grouping and present definitions of applied notions. The tables have been grouped in eight thematic chapters comprising: entities and employment in maritime economy; investment outlays and fixed assets in maritime economy; seaports; maritime and coastal shipping; production of sea vessels; fishing economy; environmental state and sea waters protection as well as maritime education.
