The Statistical Office in Gdańsk presents the “Maritime economy in Pomorskie Voivodship in the years 2021–2023”. It is a consecutive publication, issued in a three-year cycle, wholly
dedicated to this subject.

The volume consists of executive summary outlining the main features of maritime economy in Pomorskie Voivodship, statistical tables as well as general and methodological notes. The
tables have been grouped in eight thematic chapters describing: entities, employed persons and wages and salaries in maritime economy; capital expenditures and fixed assets in maritime economy; seaports; maritime and coastal shipping; production of sea vessels; fishing economy; state of the environment and sea waters protection, as well as maritime education. The methodological notes explain thematic scope of the presented material and principles of grouping.
