Basic indicators covering socioeconomic situation of the voivodship, among others: labour market and earnings, prices, finance, agriculture, industry and construction, trade, maritime economy and public safety.

The publication consists of an analysis of size and structure, vital statistics and migrations of the Voivodship’s population presented against a background of nationwide indicators and in comparison with other voivodships and powiats of Pomorskie Voivodship. The volume also contains definitions of basic concepts and indicators, survey methods and sources of information.

The elaboration consists of the methodological notes which contain essential definitions of concepts and indicators, synthesis of results of surveys enriched with graphs Data in tables are grouped in seven thematic chapters including land use, agricultural output, procurement and prices of agricultural products and selected means of production used in agriculture. The applied terminology, classifications and data grouping allow for comparisons against the country and regional data. The publication has been elaborated in two language version: Polish and English.

The report consists mainly of analytical commentaries illustrated with maps and graphs showing trends observed during the past few years, enriched with review tables showing the phenomenon both countrywide and in the Voivodship, as well as with detailed tables for the Voivodship. Definitions of indicators and concepts used in the analysis and statistical tables are described in the general notes. Basic methodological explanations can also be found in the analytical part of the publication. The subject scope covers the most important sections of official statistics, including population, labour market, wages and salaries, prices, agriculture, industry, construction, financial results of enterprises and capital expenditures.
