I am pleased to present the ”Statistical Yearbook of Pomorskie Voivodship”. This is the twenty-sixth edition of the study which addresses comprehensively the most important data regarding the living standards and conditions of the population, the economic situation and the natural environment of Pomorskie Voivodship.

The publication contains a rich set of information grouped into 21 thematic chapters. The review tables contain selected data on the Voivodship against the countrywide background in 2024 and major information about the Voivodship in 2010, 2015, 2020 and 2024. The statistical material has been supplemented with general notes and notes to the chapters explaining the terminology, methodology and scope of information.

The current edition of the Yearbook has broadened the scope of data presented based on the Delimitation of Rural Areas (DRA) developed by Statistics Poland. The aim of the Delimitation of Rural Areas is both to ensure a uniform presentation of the results of official statistics surveys concerning rural areas and to emphasise their diversity. We also provide data for October 2024 on wages and salaries, compiled on the basis of the results of the survey on the structure of wages and salaries by occupations conducted every two years Additionally, for the first time, data on generally available pharmacies and pharmaceutical outlets have been presented based on administrative data sources.
