Publication presents the issues concerning science and technology, research and development activity, innovation activity of enterprises in industry and services sector, protection of intellectual property and patents statistics as well as human resources for science and technology in the Pomorskie Voivodship.
The statistical research conducted by the Central Statistical Offi ce in the scope of the topics discussed is based on international methodological guidelines worked out by OECD and Eurostat. Apart from the CSO data also data from the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland is presented.
Statistical data has been grouped in 5 thematic chapters and presented in different profi les, depending on the topic. The publication consists of methodological notes comprising definitions of basic concepts and indicators, survey results – synthesis, where a description of the most important issues can be found and a tabular part. Supplement are graphical presentations of selected phenomena and relations.
