Duties    

Statistical Office in Gdańsk belongs to official statistics services subordinated to Statistics Poland and acts on the basis of:

• Act of 29 June 1995 on Official Statistics (Journal of Laws 2022, item 459),
• Regulation No. 19 of the President of Statistics Poland of  5 Dectember 2012 on detailed scale of duties and organisation of SO in Gdańsk (Official Journals: 2012 item 58,  2014 item 43,  2015, item 19),
• Act of 21 November 2008 on Civil Service (Journal of Laws  2022, item 1691),

Branches' reach    

Since 1 January 1999, the range of Statistical Office in Gdańsk has covered the area of Pomorskie Voivodship. The tasks are performed both at the Office in Gdańsk, as well as at three branches: in Chojnice and Słupsk.        More  >>

REGON register    

Issues related to the National Official Register of Economic Entities (REGON) are handled at the Office in Gdansk (room 15) and at  branches in Chojnice and Slupsk.

Assistance to people with disabilities    

Office buildings are adapted for persons on wheelchairs. Since April 2012, there has also been a possibility to use the assistance of a sign language interpreter.
