The elaboration consists of general, methodological and analytical notes, as well as statistical tables and charts. The notes present methods of surveys, source and scope of data, and main defi nitions. The analytical part includes description of the most important issues characterizing the situation on the labour market in Pomorskie Voivodship. Graphic presentations complement the elaboration. Tables, which constitute its substantial part, present selected information in retrospect of the years 2013 and 2014 and by sex, place of residence, ownership sectors and forms, NACE Rev. 2 sections, and occupational groups.

The Statistical Office in Gdańsk presents a publication dedicated to formal education in Pomorskie Voivodship. It consists of two parts, the fi rst encompasses data on pre-primary, primary, lower and upper secondary education, the second one presents information regarding tertiary education. The latter part includes data on the higher education, postgraduate and PhD studies, as well as issues related to financing higher education and financial and social assistance for students.
