The elaboration consists of general and methodological notes as well as the statistical tables. The methodological notes explain thematic scope of the presented material and principles of grouping. They also include definitions of applied notions. The tables have been grouped in eight thematic chapters comprising: entities and employed persons in maritime economy; investment outlays and fixed assets in maritime economy; seaports; maritime and coastal shipping; production of sea vessels; fishing economy; state of the environmental and sea waters protection, as well as maritime education.

he elaboration is rich in statistical information characterizing socio-economic situation and the condition of environment in the Voivodship by subregions, powiats and gminas. The elaboration makes a valuable supplement to the content of the simultaneously issued Yearbook. The presentation of statistical data grouped in 16 thematic chapters is preceded by general notes which explain the applied definitions and notions in brief – their more detailed version can be found in the Statistical Yearbook of Pomorskie Voivodship 2015.

The Statistical Office in Gdańsk presents a successive edition of The Statistical Yearbook of the Pomorskie Voivodship. The publication comprises a wide range of statistical information characterizing the social and economic situation, as well as the condition of the natural environment in the voivodship. Statistical data are grouped in 23 thematic chapters. They are preceded by general notes (including detailed explanation of methodology and scope of the study) and the review tables.
