The Statistical Office in Gdańsk presents a successive edition of its regular yearly publication – Pomorskie Voivodship – subregions, powiats, gminas. The elaboration is rich in statistical information characterizing socio-economic situation and the condition of
environment in the voivodship on levels of subregions, powiats and gminas in 2011. The elaboration makes a valuable supplement to the content of the simultaneously issued Yearbook.
At the beginning of the publication there are review tables containing major data on voivodship in 2000 and in years 2005-2011 and selected data on subregions and powiats in 2005 and 2011 (except data on investment outlays in enterprises and gross value of fixed assets which are presented for years 2008 and 2011).
The presentation of statistical data grouped in 12 thematic chapters is preceded by general notes, which explain the applied definitions and notions in brief – their more detailed version can be found in the Statistical Yearbook of Pomorskie Voivodship 2011.
