Demographic situation of Pomorskie Voivodship in 2017 has replaced the annual Population, vital statistics and migration in Pomorskie Voivodship. The study endeavours to analyse the demographic situation and processes occurring during a time series of over a decade, and indicates the directions of changes and basic trends.
The publication consists of an analysis of size and structure, vital statistics and migrations of the Voivodship’s population presented against a background of nationwide indicators and in comparison with other voivodships and powiats of Pomorskie Voivodship. The volume also contains definitions of basic concepts and indicators, survey methods and sources of information. The analytical commentary is complemented by tables, charts and cartograms that illustrate selected features, phenomena and observed trends. Additionally, selected data disaggregated by subregions, powiats and gminas, are presented in tabular form on the website.
