The Statistical Office in Gdańsk presents a successive edition of the publication entitled Budgets of local government units in Pomorskie Voivodship which encompasses a wide range of data regarding the revenue, expenditure and financial results of the budgets of gminas, powiats, cities with powiat status and the Voivodship, as well as information on the sources of revenue and directions for expenditure.
The volume consists of general notes defining notions and concepts used in the study, analytical notes describing the financial situation of particular local government units of Pomorskie Voivodship in 2016. Statistical tables are the essential part of the study, illustrating the size and structure of budgets and their differentiation resulting from different division of tasks implemented at different levels of the administrative division. The data on revenue and expenditure are presented in absolute terms and per capita. Selected information and indicators are set against the rest of the country and compared with the years 2000, 2005, 2010-2016.
