The Statistical Office in Gdańsk presents the publication Characteristics of continuing vocational training in enterprises in 2015 which contains the results of a new edition of the countrywide survey Continuing vocational training in enterprises conducted in April 2016. The survey was carried out simultaneously in most European countries.
The survey aimed at obtaining information on enterprises involved in the development of existing or acquiring new skills by workers, taking into account economic activity and size of enterprises. It covered, inter alia, the costs, time and availability of training fully or partly fi nanced by the enterprise.
The volume consists of general and methodological notes, analytical commentary and statistical tables. The notes present the concept of the survey, its subjective and objective scope, the principles of sampling, explanation of basic concepts and assessment of completeness of the survey. The analytical part describes the most important issues characterizing the discussed subject. Statistical tables are the essential part of the publication.
