The Statistical Office in Gdańsk presents the first publication concerning the results of the 2021 National Population and Housing Census which was conducted between 1 April and
30 September 2021, as of 31 March 2021.

The study contains a set of information about the size and demographic structure of the population, enriched with social characteristics by country of birth and citizenship,
national, ethnic and religious affiliation, level of educational attainment, and disability. The characteristics of people residing in collective accommodation facilities and the migration situation have also been included.

The publication consists of general notes containing the 2021 Census methodology and an analytical part enriched with a graphic presentation in the form of maps and charts.
The tabular part consists of review tables containing a comparison of selected results of the 2011 and 2021 Censuses and result tables presenting the 2021 Census data available on the website of the Statistical Office in Gdańsk (gdansk.stat.gov.pl) and Statistics Poland (spis.gov.pl).
