Summary:
The Statistical Office in Gdańsk presents the publication “Vocational training in enterprises in Poland in 2010”. It contains the results of the new edition of nationwide survey: “Continuing vocational training in enterprises” (SU-2 Form) conducted in April 2011. The survey was carried out simultaneously in the most European countries. The aim of the survey was to obtain information on enterprises involved in the development of existing or acquiring new skills by workers, taking into account the type of activity and size of the enterprises. Therefore, the cost, time and availability of training fully or partly financed by the enterprise were analysed.
This publication consists of methodological notes presenting the concept of the survey, the subjective and objective scope, the principles of sampling, an explanation of the basic concepts and the assessment of the completeness of the survey, as well as the analytical note and tabular part containing detailed results of the survey, grouped into ten thematic chapters.
