The elaboration Human capital in Poland in 2011 provides indicators that allow making independent researches and analyses in the following research areas: demography, health, education, labour market, culture, science, technology and innovation as well as economic and social determinants of human capital development. The data presented in elaboration was gathered from the public statistics repositories and non-statistical sources.

It consists of methodological notes, description of higher educat on institutions, basic definitions, analytical commentary as well as a tabular part grouped in ten chapters, which comprise information on applicants for studies, students, graduates, foreigners (students and graduates), university lecturers, PhD studies and postgraduate studies in different cross-sections as well as data on various forms of financial assistance for students. In addition, chapter 10 includes information on finances of public and non-public higher schools in 2012 in the field of financial sources of higher schools, costs of their activity, investment and repair costs and funds. Information on higher education by field of studies and on postgraduate studies by subgroup of fi elds of education is presented ccording to the International Standard Classificati on of Education (ISCED’97).

The elaboration consists of general, methodological and analytical notes, as well as statistical tables and charts. Notes present methods of surveys, source and scope of data as well as main definitions. The analytical part includes description of the most important issues characterizing the situation on the labour market in Pomorskie Voivodship. The complementation are the graphic presentations. The main part of the elaboration is constituted by tables, of which selected ones are presented in the retrospection for years 2011-2012 and by sex, place of residence, ownership sectors and forms, NACE Rev. 2 s ections as w ell as occupational groups.
