Summary:
The subject range includes various aspects of living conditions, among others, basic demographic data, data on household conditions, incomes and expenditures, broadly understood economic activity, education, culture, public safety and environmental protection. The publication contains an analytical part and tables which start with the presentation of the major data on the voivodship displayed against the background of the country and other voivodships. The analytical part has been enriched with graphs and maps which illustrate the most important social and economic phenomena and enable making comparisons across voivodships and powiats within the region. The tables are preceded by methodological notes which explain the essential definitions of indicators and concepts applied to the analysis and statistical tables.
Most data comes from the statistical surveys conducted by the CSO. Additional information was provided by the police, the fire department and other institutions of the Pomorskie Voivodship.
