Summary:
It consists of methodological notes, descripti on of higher educati on institutions, basic definitions, analytical commentary as well as a tabular part grouped in ten chapters, which comprise information on applicants for studies, students, graduates, foreigners (students and graduates), university lecturers, PhD studies and postgraduate studies in different cross-secti ons as well as data on various forms of financial assistance for students. In addition, chapter 10 includes informati on on finances of public and non-public higher schools in 2012 in the field of financial sources of higher schools, costs of their activity, investment and repair costs and funds.
Information on higher educati on by field of studies and on postgraduate studies by subgroup of fi elds of education is presented ccording to the Internati onal Standard Classificati on of Education (ISCED’97).
